Grid Glasgow

Grid Glasgow

Launched in September 2010 by Sebastian Gorton Kalvik and Arron Sands, GRID Glasgow is a means of mapping contemporary art events across the city, with the aim of providing a concise guide to Glasgow’s rich cultural landscape. Currently on issue 8 (November–December 2011), bimonthly issues are distributed across a wide variety of Glasgow's venues and institutions.

GRID Glasgow PublicationIn April 2011 the new GRID website was launched which contains regularly updated listings of art events in Glasgow. The website uses the GRID map as the main navigation tool and a preliminary version of the mobile site is available for iPhone and Android devices.

GRID Glasgow is produced with the support of Creative Scotland through the Own Art scheme. Own Art is also supporting the development of a special edition of GRID Glasgow for the Glasgow International Festival of Visual Art 2012.
