Creativity Portal

Creativity is increasingly recognised as an essential higher order skill for learning, life and work. It has an important role to play in learning and teaching, enabling Scotland's young people to develop as successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens and effective contributors.
The Creativity Portal has been developed as a partnership between Education Scotland and Creative Scotland in order to create a collaborative environment that aims to encourage educators to place creativity at the heart of their practice. It's a space for information, inspiration and collaboration and encourages partnerships between educators and culture practitioners in order to enrich young people’s learning experiences.
Its various features include the Creative Directory, which allows educators to make contact with cultural organisations across Scotland, and the Forums, where practitioners can share ideas and make connections with their peers.
There is also a showcase space that highlights case studies of good practice between schools and cultural organisations, including projects by Scottish Opera and the Scottish Storytelling Centre.
Explore the Creativity Portal. (please note that some sections of the site require a GLOW login).
